Can We Talk? Arizona is an online prevention program that was developed to address public health and safety problems affecting families, schools, communities, and the workplace. The mission of Can We Talk? Arizona is to deliver prevention education that has measurable results with the goal of reducing serious problems associated with violence, sex, drugs, drinking, and diet. Can We Talk? Arizona focuses on the key provider of health and safety education: the parent.
A Science-Based Approach for Family Education
Based on one of the leading parent-focused prevention programs in the nation, Can We Talk? Arizona has developed a series of online courses for parents and their children to take together. While the approach is science-based, the delivery of the program is engaging, creative, and a proven catalyst for effective communication and health education. Can We Talk? Arizona's successful approach delivers vital health and safety prevention education to an entire school's student and parent population, or an entire workplace's adult population-reaching parents, grandparents and other key adults in student's lives.
Empowering Students in Measurable Ways
Can We Talk? Arizona's engaging courses are designed to empower schools, workplaces, and communities—giving adults the resources to impact young people's attitudes and behaviors related to health and safety in measurable ways. Our goal is to support young people in making healthy, safe, informed choices. Enhancing the online prevention courses are face-to-face parent workshops that are facilitated by certified Can We Talk?
